"The pub, room and village were lovely however the floor in the room wasn’t clean and the lady behind the bar was clearly having a bad day as her attitude towards her customers sucked."
"Excellent location; very friendly and helpful staff; beautiful views from our bedroom window of Weymouth beach and all of the activities going on there."
"Good location 10 minutes walk to bay/marina. Bus stop 5 min away to get to Portland. Continental breakfast with good selection of fruits. Friendly hosts. "
"We stayed at Pebbles for three days last week. The guest house was lovely and clean, quiet and in a good location near to town.
We were made to feel very welcome and the breakfast was the perfect start to the day.
We would definitely recommend staying here and will again in the future."

Traditional seaside town, with usual attractions of fish and chips, tourist shops, cinema, theatre and bars. Worth walking around the harbourside, and visiting Nothe fort. If driving, go up to Portland lighthouse, chesil and Abbotsbury swanery.

Weymouth is the ideal base for exploring the Jurassic Coast. We had a car but there is a local bus that also goes to the main tourist spots along the coastline. It is difficult to describe the beauty of this area.

Love weymouth. The harbour is so interesting and vast. Boat rides and speedboat rides available every day. Donkeys and punch and judy on the beach. Shame there are fair rides on the beach itself and the actual esplanade. Spoils it . Town is good.

Great base for driving around Dorset with excellent restaurants. It's a small seaside tourist resort full of charm and is perfect for a short romantic getaway only 3hrs from Heathrow by car.
"Excellent value for money. The property is slightly dated but the room was ultra clean and the facilities were great. The owners are really friendly and I couldn’t fault the location! A short walk to the railway station, sea front and town centre but still quiet. "
"Warm welcome by the host, explained everything you need to know. The bed was really comfortable, room was spacious and tidy, even had a fan which was welcome as the nights where in the 20s. Breakfast was gorgeous, cereals, full english or if you asked for anything similar they'd do it, the coffee was lovely, they also catered for the continental visitors. Spacious car park and a nice ten minute walk to the seaside. Overall i would recommend The George and would certainly visit again.
