"We had a short break to Lyme Regis and stayed at the Rock Point Inn, the room was great, just what we needed. The bed and duvet were so comfortable we almost didn't get up. The location was perfect, right on the beach and close to everything in town. "Two days before arrival we were emailed to say there would be a loud disco below our room until 11.45pm. They offered cancellation but it was far too late to change our visit and rearrange, so we put up with it. The room was ok but wasnt cleaned on the 2nd day. No Breakfast available both days. "Staff was helpful and the room was fantastic. Dinner and breakfast were fine. I’m sure it had nothing to do with the hotel, but there was an absolute terrible stench outside when we arrived, it could actually still be smelled in the room. It eventually died down but never went away"

"The staff here care about you and treat you like family (I got a flat tire in their parking lot at night and they helped me call my rental car agency and helped me through the process all the way). The building and rooms are lovely and comfortable with many little touches that make it feel like home. "

"Pros - wonderfully comfortable bed and pillows, lovely sheets and soft fluffy towels. A lovely newly refurbished bathroom and lots of lovely hot water and nice toiletries. The food is superb, both dinner and breakfast, with lots of choice and cannot be faulted. Dogs allowed everywhere, which for us is a massive plus with 2 dogs. Opposite the Abbey so in a marvellous position for seeing the area by foot and parking is free as well Cons - chipped paintwork in room and bathroom, needed a re-paint...

"A few of my colleagues have stayed here over a few nights and said how lovely the owner was and he assisted when Expedia didn't send through the booking quick enough but was kind enough to put up in an upgraded room at no extra cost to ourselves - highly recommend and will definitely be using this accommodation again when my trainers are down that way."

"The staff at the Fox were extremely friendly. The Room was a good size and bed comfortable however one of our rooms had very steep eaves which restricted movement without leaning over. The food was good standard pub food, as was the breakfast, without hitting any heights, hence 4 stars, but service was excellent."
