It’s an older lodge that has been upgraded with excellent bathroom fixtures and main bedroom lighting. Wifi is a little slow, early morning hot water taps need to run a bit before hot water arrives and the sliding partition in our room 2 needs to be replaced with a frosted glass door as the current wooden sliding partition is a little stiff to open . "Basic safari hotel. Institutional catering. Unfortunately, the Safari vehicles were worn out and very uncomfortable. They had not replaced the shock absorber which made the drive very uncomfortable. Convenient to Cape Town, but clearly not the right bush for giraffes which had their heads permanently bowed due to lack of any trees."

"We loved our stay here. It was a great stopping point after doing Karoo National Park. It was clean and a piece of paradise. There were giraffes, impalas, countless birds and large tortoises throughout the property. You could walk anywhere on site and we felt very safe. "The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bath needed maintenance and staff responded quickly. The hand and bath lotions need to be fixed properly as they were inconvenient to use. Overall our stay at the hotel was a great experience and will come back if our plans are to come to Cape Town again sometime in future."
