"The lady who checked me in was excellent, very courteous and helpful. Amenities were very good, and room was clean. Bed was comfortable, my pillow was too soft, but that is a personal observation and choice. Overall an excellent choice!!"

All the staff are friendly and helpful but have their work cut out for them in a tired hotel past its best. There are signs of half-completed basic renovations and worn, tired carpets. Lovely gardens. "

"The reception was warm, and even though we had one of the more modern rooms, it still had charm to it. The breakfast was fantastic, and the location cannot be beat if you're looking for a stay in Glastonbury. "

"Decent property for a single night stay with a family. Hard to find in the dark and no parking, though on-street parking and car parks are available locally. Three bedrooms with a small kitchen and wet room. Nowhere specific to eat as a family but small tables in each room were fine. Had to phone on the day to get the key code. This could be made more obvious - or the owner could communicate more proactively. "
