It is handy to the airport and a cafe close by. the access to the property is a bit tricky but if careful its OK.

Awesome place to stay

We had a great overnight stay at the Bella Vista! The managers were very friendly and offered some helpful tips when we told them we were heading to the South Island after checking out. The motel is in a really nice part of Wellington with a nice cafe a short walk away and great restaurants a bit further up the hill. Would definitely stay there again.

Our concern was that the studio room was illuminated all night by external lighting which made sleep difficult. We could not find a way to reduce the glare coming in around the curtains .
