If you’re staying in Wellington, the location could not be better. Te Papa Museum is right across the street. Incredible restaurants and the bars of Cuba Street are a short distance away. It’s an easy walk to the cable car. With an impressive private art collection on site, walking around the hotel is an attraction unto itself. The staff is friendly, efficient, and helpful.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable! After a long day of traveling, we decided to valet park and it was worth it rather than finding another parking garage and knowing it was safe in their hands we kept our bigger luggage in the car. They allowed us to remain parking there when we checked out the next morning and enjoy the museum!

A great location with easy access to waterfront and Courtenay place. Enjoyed a very quiet room with extremely comfortable bed. Check in was a bit on the slow side but that was the only negative.

Great little boutique hotel with a wonderful location directly across the street from the Museum and the marina and about a 15 minute walk to the cable car. Wonderful art throughout the entire hotel and beautifully curated. The hippopotamus restaurant is great with a great view. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend.

The hotel staff were excellent the location was great but the breakfast was possibly the worst breakfast I have ever experienced anywhere in the world and I have stayed in some very remote places. We had 3 breakfasts there but on the 4th day we decided to go hungry
