We stayed at the aathma at the beginning and end of our trip, the king suite with balcony first and the deluxe suite in the main building last, both rooms are of a very high standard and we throughly enjoyed our stay. An esquisite retreat in everyway, so much so that we want to live there! Samir I love you! X

Everything about this hotel was fantastic! Staff and service was excellent. Staff were attentive and anticipated our needs without being intrusive. Facilities were of a high standard and included everything we needed. The outdoor pool was exceptionally enjoyable. WiFi was excellent - both in the room and at the pool. It’s worth booking a club Horizon room as the lounge is worth every penny.

I've stayed at quite a few of the nicest hotels in Colombo over the past few years, both with my family and alone, and I'm really pleased I tried ITC this year. It's probably now my joint favourite alongside the Hilton Colombo Residences. It is superior to the Shangri-La (where the rooms are shoeboxes and the feeling is sterile) and Mt Lavinia (which seems too obsequious to a colonial past!). Located just far enough out of Colombo to be quiet, yet can easily walk to Galle Face Green if you wish. The hotel is clean and staff are great. Plenty food and beverage options at reasonable prices or try Galle Road for street food. Take the free shuttle to the beach lounge for a swim in the sea or just relax on the sea front. The roof pool is busier than the beach lounge but still always room available. High Tea was very good and the Tides buffet was super.

Staff was very good and cooperative

The hotel was just what we needed after arriving in Colombo and we stayed again the night before we left. The pool and rooftop bar have amazing views as well as the rooms. Breakfast is great but quite expensive, as are the snacks in the rooftop bar. Our favourite meal was a la carte lunch which was really good value.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay at Orion City Hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable and WiFi worked well. Hot water was plentiful. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our meal in the hotel restaurant. The location was great for us- we were able to walk to the R Premadasa stadium.

Beautiful hotel, great service, very friendly staff! The pool was amazing and with a beautiful view. Hotel is fairly new so everything is still in great condition, hopefully it stays that way for years to come! Highly recommend this hotel!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel.The staff were so attentive and smiled continually throughout our time there.We could not have asked for more.We also ate supper in the restaurant and believe that the meal was by far the best we had whilst in Sri Lanka.If / when we return to Sri Lanka we will definitely stay there again.

A little oasis in the hustle and bustle of Colombo. Everything was fantastic- the food, the room and most of all the staff who were all so warm and welcoming. We were sorry to leave.

I have been staying at Colombo Hilton for many years. It is my favourite hotel. The staff are very friendly and they go out of the way to help your need. The property is spot on. Breakfast is excellent and I hope that I will get free breakfast included in my next trip. I am unable to comment about the sea view as I was given a room facing the entrance of the hotel

For a mere £84 we stayed in this lovely, comfortable hotel in Colombo. The friendliest welcome with a refreshing Popsicle followed by helpful advice about getting around the city. We didn't eat dinner there as that evening was a wonderful play procession just round the corner but breakfast was delicious. We hope to return for more than one night
