"Upscale room with a monster walk in shower, great air conditioner, close to the river and the historic Washington downtown. Full kitchen with bar stools, as well as adjustable LED mood lighting to any color you'd like all over the room. The closet is minimalist, with just a rack at the foot of the bed in the Junior Suite, but we were only there for 2 nights, so no problem. The complete kitchen with full sized fridge, a very comfy bed\pillows and plenty of charging receptacles makes this a must-stay choice! "

"The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and large. They were cleaning the carpets while we were there (liked that). The mini-frig was large with a large freezer. It is quiet. Our car was loaded and we were worried until we drove around Cuba and saw an appliance store and a garden center, both closed for the night with lots of merchandise left out in the open. Clearly a pretty safe town. The dining area and lobby both have nice furniture. Breakfast included eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffle batter, cereals, toast and bagels. The gym is well equipped and the pool is indoor and nice. Given the inexpensive rate, we werent expecting as nice a place as it was. Several Convenient pkaces to eat. Wanted to eat at Shelly's based on reviews but it was closed. Went to Mo Hick's BBQ instead. They tell you as soon as you walk in what they are out of. Excellent service and good bbq. "

"This Inn is very much no frills, but is done in a very tasteful way, and if you are not looking for a bed and breakfast atmosphere (which my wife and I were not!) then it is great for a night away. We stayed there for my wife's 40th birthday trip to the wineries across the river in Augusta/Defiance and the location was perfect for that. It is self check-in - we didn't interact with any staff during our stay at all. We were also within a very reasonable walking distance to the center of town and some nice restaurants. Parking was free and plentiful. The room had everything that you would expect to find in a hotel room - fridge, iron, small coffee maker. Bed was a bit too soft for my wife's taste, but it didn't really bother me. Water pressure in the shower could have done with being improved. All in all, I would recommend the property and would book again."
