"This was the second time staying in this Hotel. We had a King Size Suite, which was too big for us, but would be great for a small family. Kitchen area has a full-size refrigerator, sink and microwave oven. Small table w 2 chairs to sit at. Air-conditioning/heating was perfect. Did not use amenities as this was a quick overnight business trip. Next rip to Cleburne, we will always choose this hotel. VERY convenient to all things! "

"The Inn on the River is centrally located in Glen Rose's historic downtown, so rather than being in a hotel on the noisy Hwy 67, you get a more relaxing stay. The Inn is also a quiet oasis because its property slopes down to the Paluxy river. Its restaurant and bar are another nice feature. If you travel with a pet, then you can find a no more dog-friendly place than The Inn on the River. "

"Clean facility and friendly staff. Perfect stay for a baseball tournament nearby so we didn’t have to drive back and forth but also didn’t break the bank. Everything worked. Really nice outdoor pool but was too cold for us to use. "

"We rented a room for two nights. The first night we arrived, the hallway leading to our room was dirty and clearly had not been cleaned. I assumed there had just been a lot of traffic in and out. When we got into our room, the toilet was clogged and couldn’t be used. A lady from the front desk came and fixed it, so I figured it was just a one-time issue and that the next day would be better. The next morning we got up early and left. Before leaving, we gathered our used towels and trash and had everything ready for housekeeping. The trash was tied up in the small trash bag from the room. When we returned around 1:30 in the afternoon, the hallway still looked like it had not been cleaned. When we went into our room, it had not been serviced at all. The towels were still there, and the trash had not been picked up. I called the front desk, and the employee told me housekeeping had already left for the day. She said she couldn’t provide fresh towels or toilet paper and that no one was available to pick up the dirty towels or trash. I asked if the manager could call me, and she said the manager would call in a day or two. We ended up checking out early. It’s now been a week, and the manager still hasn’t reached out. Honestly, not only was the hotel dirty, but it was also very rundown. The pictures on the website are not accurate, even the gym didn’t match what was advertised. The lady at the front desk mentioned she was new, so she was doing what she could."
