A lovely place to have an overnight, really unique. We loved staying here, the standard of the accommodation exceeded all our expectations, it was cosy, warm, spacious and super clean.

The host is super friendly and super helpful. The breakfast was extraordinary. The only thing I would wish to be improved is the kitchen. Cooking on a small and single gas is very slow and not so effective. Overall the stay was superb..🙂🙂

The hotel locates exactly at the core of Eguisheim, which is the cutest village that you should never miss. A very welcoming & friendly hostess. The room had lots of character. Excellent breakfasts. Use of small kitchenette area. Good parking. The surrounding countryside is very forested so views were limited. Local architecture is interesting with a heavy German bias. Limited choice of local restaurants but the two we tried were good.

What I especially liked was the ability to park on the property, with is in an outlying village of the Strasbourg metropolitan area, and bus it into the city - there's a regular service, takes half an hour, cost €2.50. It's a unique sort of property, an enclosed series of buildings, half-timbered in style, repurposed to local uses and tourism. The host is as brilliant as other reviews note - nothing too much trouble.

Lovely place and a warm welcome. Off road parking, simple but quality breakfast. And she recommended and booked somewhere for dinner. And then there’s the gorgeous cats!
