Beautiful hotel tucked away in the Tuscan hills. Very peaceful and beautifully taken care of. The rooms are huge and beautiful.

After the drive from Pisa airport, the drive up the 4km track led to a most stunning property. We were immediately welcomed by Stefano (and two cold beers!) and the hospitality continued throughout our stay. we would live here if we could. beautiful family run place, far more care and attention to every little detail than you would ever expect in even the very best hotels. beautiful grounds set in vineyard and olive groves, resident animals, fantastic restaurant onsite and lovely staff. the setting is so beautiful that one afternoon we got back to our apartment to find people taking selfies with our apartment door. our one suggestion would be to designate one of the pools as adults only as it did...

A perfect location for exploring Tuscany. A lovely base with great facilities and great to swim in the pool after a day's sightseeing.

This was a delightful place to stay with stunning views over the vineyards. What we enjoyed most of all was eating our evening meal with the family who are 4th generation wine makers. They were extremely friendly and welcoming and their home cooked meals were delicious. It's a good place to stay as a base to see Florence and other places all easy to get to by car. Can't wait to go again!

Lovely staff and facilities

Stayed in the rooftop window room for 2 nights in the annex which wasn't ideal as the place was full... but it was a full for a reason. What a place - unbelievable views, breakfast was good and the dinner was top tier. The free wine tasting on the terrace was a particularly nice touch. We stayed here for 2 nights just after our wedding in Puglia and couldn't be happier with it as a place to unwind. Staff very attentive/knowledgable. This is a great little hotel. I highly recommend it. An hour maximum from Florence so if you fancy a few days to relax and unwind then this is ideal. The pool is lovely and the rooms are cosy. Highly recommend.

The property is very nice and very peaceful, the room was big and very clean. It's on the outskirts of San Gimiliano about 15 minutes driving. It's very close to Volterra too. The property will be amazing for summer as it's has a lovely pool and chill out areas. We loved the tranquility of the place.
