"English pub in a quiet, but well connetted, area in Oxford. The room is nice, well equipped and with an en-suite, new bathroom. Great English breakfast served every morning and very helpful staff."

"Never could figure out how to get into the bar/restaurant below -- I'm not sure it was even open? So we never saw any other people/staff. But the room was very nice and comfortable. There are a lot of stairs to get to the rooms, so be prepared for that."

"Staff was very accommodating. Room was comfy and warm. Not updated to look modern but instead retains its ambience. Breakfast was very nice. Walking distance to central Oxford. Would stay here again in a heartbeat."

"This hotel is really just several rooms for rent without anyone onsite. Rooms do not have air conditioning, and amenities are sparse. The location is close to the heart of town but the alley pretty noisy with crowds at night and delivery trucks morning. "

"Location was fabulous for our purposes and in general for access for city centre Oxford. We walked everywhere with no destination more than 8 minutes away."
"Really central and new hotel. Staff very friendly. However checkin was multi step and tedious. Room card has to be used 4 times to get in to lift, corridors and then room.
Loved the breakfast. "
"We had a great stay! The staff was friendly, the room clean, and great access to everything! It could get a little loud at night, but we were impressed with the sound proofing. In terms of service, my mom forgot her phone, and not only did they call right away, they raced to the train station to make sure we didn’t leave without it! I would definitely come back."
"I slept like a baby. Really. The door to the room opens with a skeleton key so it’s older but that’s part of the charm. Great internet and the staff made me feel welcome anytime I walked in the door."
"Great Place to stay in Oxford. Centrally located in historic downtown. Wonderful staff from reception to housekeeping. Everyone was so helpful and welcoming. Thrilled with my experience."
