"This historic property is beautifully maintained and centrally located near the mall and museums, Old Ebbit Grill and Joes Crab, among other eateries. Also, the Round Robin grill, named by Walt Whitman, offers good food and great drinks. It is only one of two bars in the US to ask me if I wanted my martini stirred or shaken. The suites are spacious and amentities fine."

Valet parking was a little expensive, just over $50 per night, but it seems like it is this way with almost every hotel in the area. "Not only was the property beautiful, clean and inviting, Salamander's customer service should be a global standard! They left no stone unturned in terms of exceeding my requests and needs. Let's get into the food, too. Dogon was AMAZING as usual, but the in-room dining, brunch experience was to live for as well. From check-in to check-out, top-tier luxury was served!!!"
