"I really liked this little budget hotel. It is in a fantastic location in Kolkata within walking distance of all kinds of coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. Staff are friendly and courteous. They have a cute little cafe attached to the hotel that had great food and was always busy. All day breakfast plates were especially good. It is basic, but clean. Great value for money! "this place is a big scam. Double deluxe rooms were so small, beds as described were not there, blankets were dirty and smelly, there was no parking place, why would they advertise parking when there is not even one place available for parking, on top of that they cheat people on a regular basis with key issues. They say you broke the key inside so now you have to pay 1000s of rupees to fix it. so much time each day was wasted. like 2-3 hours trying to get the key to the room fixed. we found...

"Place is okay, aircon works, bed is comfy, washroom is reasonably clean, staff is helpful, management is clever. Owner asked for extra money than expedia booking amount. after a long negotiation and revised price ( considerably higher than quoted by expedia) we were allowed to check in. do not list your property on hotel booking platforms if you are not willing to accept the price these platforms will quote for your property.
