Wow, where do I begin? Sancreed house is truly beautiful. Grove & Pablo have put so much in to making the space wonderful - even down to the scent! Everything has been so well thought through. The room itself was stunning. Somewhere you could completely unwind. Everything you could need was provided - plenty of space for belongings, a small fridge, tea and coffee, a hairdryer and even some slippers which were a lovely touch. Looking out on to the gardens whilst having breakfast each morning was...

We have visited Penzance on many day trips during summer months and often thought it may be nice to visit 'out of season'. Additionally we have always felt that The Dolphin looks a nice place to stay, with an excellent location by the harbour. We travelled down on the overnight train from Paddington (an experience in itself), and was not disappointed with our choice of The Dolphin to stay. The weather was kind to us, and we had three lovely days in and around Penzance.

A short but memorable stay for all the right reasons! Originally had booked for one night, but liked so much that we extended our stay. On arrival were given a tour of the facilities and shown to room. The room was large, modern, bright and of a lovely standard. As a premium room it included extra touches like a coffee machine. Very comfortable bed, good shower and soft carpet.
Breakfast was yummy and kept us going until dinner!

Lovely historic hotel in a beautiful location. Only down side was their food was slow to arrive, though cannot complain about the meal. Their waiters were very apologetic as they were short staffed in their kitchen , hence delay. We made the mistake of using our sat nav to find the hotel and arrived by the rear entrance, which is easily missed, so ensure you follow hotel signs for Limpley Stoke Hotel. Would stay again if in area.

This was one night stay before an early ferry crossing and it was just the ticket. Small twin room with everything we needed for a great nights sleep.
Nice people who were helpful and friendly.
