"Great location for first time Osaka visitors. Lots of shopping downstairs and dining if you are too tired to venture out/ want to stay near hotel. Room is clean and bathroom is nice."

"I bit pricey but at least you feel like you are getting what you paid for. Breakfast buffet i'd skip if I went back. Al-a-cart choices were NOT good. French toast? is that what that was? Pancakes - get you three little silver dollar sized pieces. Omelette's were a lot undercooked and no option for just a simple sunny side up egg. Toaster did not toast the bread. A large variety to be sure, but I found myself sturuggling to make a decent breakfast out of it. "

"We really enjoyed staying at The Gala Hotel Umeda. The staff were very friendly and easy to talk, and very helpful. Our room was excellent. It was very functional, had a lot of hangers, even a washer & dryer! We did not hear anything from next rooms. It was very quiet! "

"We LOVED our stay at Smile Hotel. It is our first time in Japan. From the services and amenities, everything was EXCEPTIONAL. We loved the helpful staff, even though they were not speaking english, we manage to communicate with the translator. I forgot an adapter for my laptop and I needed one as I was writing a final exam during my stay and they lended me one. I also needed a ethernet cable and I found one when I arrived. For western residents wondering about the bed sizes, we are a chubby couple and their double bed was more than enough for both of us. They have laundry with auto-detergent (meaning you don't need to add detergent as it has itself), they can provide you an iron at the front desk. I’ll just say that if you have any question about something you may need, don’t hesitate to ask them, they will answer you and if they can they will definitely help you too :) Thank you so much!
