"We were not able to stay, but also not able to cancel. The winter storm on the east coast changed our plans and corporate greed stole our money. We did not get a refund even though we canceled a day in advance. Marriott and Expedia pointed the finger at each other and both refused to issue a refund."

"The entire hotel is neglected and semi clean. Pictures online are overstated as a new remodel. Really? Just a few slapped on improvements are noticeable but mostly rusty and broken down. Panels in the elevator are about to fall down, floors are dirty, and even though all staff was super nice it did not make up for the very noisy location. We heard sirens every 20 minutes from every emergency vehicle flying down PCH all day and all night long. I think I got a special rate because I'm a gold member of the agency I used to book the room, however, I saw this hotel listed at about $200 x night which would be a total rip off. Be aware! "
