"Hotel has a nice view, close to ocean but it’s very old and outdated. They need to take out the old carpets. And update it."

"Room was only cleaned twice for our 5 night stay and the first time it was only cleaned halfway (one of the 2 beds made, not vacuumed). 3 of the nights were nice and quiet, but 2 of them were very loud with music blasting until 3:30am and lots of swearing/arguing. Our room also smelled strongly of weed a few times, which is not ideal when traveling with young kids. Great location, friendly staff but not the best hotel for kids."

"The “breakfast” is just carbs, no protein , but Denny’s and IHOP are right across the street."

"I’ve stayed at The Shade many times and have always appreciated the staff and service., The SeaLevel Restaurant is always great, with particular shout out to Trent who always provides attentive personable service! Parking team is also on it! Well Done!"
