"The property was in a great location. It was an easy walk to markets, shops and restaurants. The room was small with a giant king size bed (I could have done with a queen and gave more room to walk around. The room itself was okay, nothing great but served it's purpose. The hotel also seemed very dark. The entrance to the lobby was dark as was the hallways to the room. Next time I would spend a bit more money for a bigger room."

"The room is bare bones. It’s for travelers who need a place to lay their head. It’s no frills. The slippers were barely more than a sheet of paper, super thin and flimsy."

"Very clean room. Nicely appointed with modern style. Mattresses were much too soft for my liking and actually slid around the bed. Great water pressure for shower. Complimentary beverages were great. Laundry is available on site but because of the combo washer/dryer design, clothes just didn’t come out dry. Nice exercise room with high end equipment."

"This hotel is about 8min walk to JR Nijo Station, there is a Kyoto Coop Supermarket with MUJI on the 2nd floor opposite the station. I absolutely love the room space, feel very much at home. will be back if I come to Kyoto again."
