"Parking was great, right by our door, no fees, no valet, so easy. Room was clean and housekeeper even left a note, (Maria, I believe). We arrived late, and the innkeeper Daniel, left a code in a lockbox, and sent a secure electronic key via my mobile device. Very close to restaurants, thinking breakfast at Zorros cafe an easy block walk away was great, with a Shell Beach Inn coupon. We booked the same day as our travels were loosely planned, (my specialty)…. We met with family visiting the area, en route to another destination. Loved to see our family 😁 on our way! Thank you Shell Beach Inn for making a very last moment visit successful."

"Property like many of its neighbors under remodeling. No disturbance from construction over the weekend. Traveling with grandkids for beach outing. Convenient, beach accessible via stairs. Clean. Courteous staff. Family friendly. Spacious one bedroom suite with sofabed oceanfront with balcony. Two bathrooms make it easy in the morning. Plenty of space for two adults and two kids under 6. Kids being kids, they loved and preferred the sofabed. Breakfast w hot options and fine for the kids. Reasonable price."

"They’ve done a nice job remodeling this place so it’s super cute. However, if you have a room with a guest above you, you can hear everything… I would stay her again but probably opt for a stand alone cottage. Nice view. Access to beach is pretty close but not on the property. Brew and blast next door was nice to grab a burger and beer. "
