"This motel is 5 stars for what it is, which is an inexpensive place to stay for a night. We were in the area for a concert and just needed somewhere to sleep. The rooms are small and not fancy but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the check in process was quick and easy with on site parking which was easy to navigate. "

" We like the Sandcastle Hotel because its unobstructed ocean front views. It is close to the Pier but far enough to not be impacted by large gatherings around the Pier. "

"Even on the ground floor, the ocean view was beautiful. The room was clean, very comfortable bed and loved the shutters. It was quiet and plenty of outdoor seating. Although the pool was closed, the adult hot tub was very nice. There is very limited indoor seating for breakfast and with rain, it was difficult to find anywhere out of the rain to eat. We liked being able to fill our water containers with cold filtered water. The afternoon chocolate chip cookies were a great addition too! Breakfast selections were plentiful and coffee was always available and tasty! Conveniently located with a nice walk into Pismo Beach, restaurants close by and short scenic drives to lots of fun things to do. We highly recommend the sea crest and would definitely come back! "

"All staff here is amazing! Very helpful. It's confusing getting to our room and a lot of walking up and down stairs as we are on the 3rd floor. When lost a staff member walked us up the stairs and even carried one of my bags! Garage parking has very small stalls. We couldn't get in and out of our car. And when we moved the car we scraped the front corner of our car on the wall. We moved to parking in front on the street and that was much better. The free ice cream, breakfast, and pie with ice cream were all nice amenities. Our room was almost like a castle entrance and we had a great view. It was big, spacious, and clean. "
