"Solvang’s Wine Valley Inn is THE perfect place to stay while enjoying this lovely part of California. The sweet little village town of Solvang & its Wednesday Farmers Market is all within walking distance, Los Olivos & San Ynez are a short drive away, the big blue lake is about 20 minutes drive. We stay in the Cottages. The freestanding ones are like little houses with a yard & hot tub. These are definitely preferable for privacy & quiet enjoyment. Separate living area, fireplace, kitchen, dining area. Plus pet friendly. Just perfect! Don’t miss Rainbow Spa for a fabulous massage… about 5 minutes up the street. The staff is friendly & accommodating. It’s a beautiful hotel, reminiscent of a charming European town. Really nice all year round (plus central air/heat) but spectacular during the winter holiday. Come to Solvang & stay at Wine Valley Inn :-)."
