"Beautiful and peaceful setting, so restful. I lived the creek and all the outdoor seating. The property owner was very nice and welcoming. The yurt was a unique experience and it was cozy and beautiful. The soaking tub was luxurious. The only hard thing was that it is a little far from the main house and the bathroom facilities. Also, it was noisy from the traffic, but thank goodness they provided earplugs. It’s very convenient and close to downtown Nevada City."

"There is no communication from the host in a town that has no Wi-Fi. No one was home to answer the door or greet us when we got there. So he stood there a little confused, not knowing what to do until we eventually saw a piece of paper around the corner that said the keys were in the door. Once we got in and put our stuff down, we were quite comfortable. I actually enjoyed that there was no Wi-Fi or TV or even an electric clock. It’s exactly what my body needed. To sit down with a glass of wine and my mother to reconnect and have some quality one-on-one time. I think I would have appreciated a little information as to what restaurants were in this tiny town since I had never been here before. It wasn’t hard to find, and we had an amazing meal down the road. I would definitely come back."

"This is a beautiful property to stay on and so affordable. Unfortunately we ended up with a room with a leaky toilet and it ran with a high pitched squeal every ten minutes or so. closing the pocket door helped a little but this seems like something that could be maintained better. There were also several black hairs on the walls in the shower telling me it must not have been cleaned after the last guest. It was still worth the visit and is a great affordable optio walking distance from downtown NV City."
