we stayed here last year for the nevada victorian christmas festival. we liked it so much we stayed again this year and the place has gotten better! we will be doing this again for years to come... the crew at the desk is awesome also.

Pleasantly surprised with the rustic quality of this place. It was charming and perfect for my family getaway. Even caught the train that picks up in the parking lot and got a little tour of the train museum, all for free. Our cabin was perfect for my two young children, wife and I. Private and quiet. Everyone might not agree this is a 4/5 as the facilities are older, but my husband and I like the rustic/older feel. The surrounding nature/scenery was beautiful with the creek and small waterfall. Close to downtown. We stayed in one of the cabins and we liked having our own space but the the bathroom was very dated and the fireplace didn’t work.

The property was great. Lots of parking. My room was nicely updated. The only thing I would say is that the body wash in the shampoo dispensers were not functioning or empty. I didn’t do the continental breakfast so I can’t come in on it. Good location for where we were going last night. Right off the freeway.
