"Friendly checkin , helped me get into a better upgraded room early, there was a charge. No free upgrades at this hotel. Did ask for a late check out with a $50 charge , I declined. The room was really clean and smelled good and furniture seemed new. Customer service was great all around. Water park was fun ! The only real disapointment was the jacuzzis at 2 seperate locations at Sedona upper and lower were broken and pool for Sedona lower was very dirty. We just went to Camelback building and it was fine. Overall a great experience I’ve come here many times over 20yrs and it’s been great and I would highly recommend . I just wish prices for drinks and food were a little more affordable . A tray of French fries cosing between $13-$19 is way too expensive! "

"Staff was hardly present, room was semi clean, air condition was loud, as well as the refrigerator. There was no maid service for the week I was there. "

"My room key often didn't work and I was told that was true of all the rooms because it was an old building. It was very basic accommodations and priced accordingly. I didn't need or want a lot of frills. I got what I wanted but could have used a little more reliable door lock."

"I chose this hotel as it was very close to Tempe Beach Park(the Reggie Rise Yp Festival was their). I could bot have been happier with my choice. The neighbor hood was beautiful. The employees were super nice. My only regret is I did not have more time to explore the area. I will always look for Westin hotels while traveling"

"A blaring fire alarm went off twice in the middle of the night Saturday night/Sunday morning telling us to evacuate the building. As you can image, being ripped out of sleep to “evacuate” was an excessive amount of anxiety we had to deal with. After 1-2 minutes of trying to get our wits about us, the alarm stopped. With no explanation. no confirmation of a false alarm. just silence for us to sit in and determine if we were on the 3rd floor of a burning building. Incredibly, it happened again in the wee hours of that same morning. Same alarm, same message, same anxiety, same sudden stop, same silence leaving us to guess as to our situation and our safety. Been staying in Marriott properties for almost 40 years and while accidents happen, humans make mistakes, an occasional service issue arises, nothing that caused my physical heart rate to spike. And then? No explanation. Nothing. We did receive our bill however. Thank for that. Think about how you would feel? Really, if you are reading this, do you think that at a bare bones minimum, you might get a “sorry about that …”. "

"Front desk was helpful when extended the night. Some ants were still visible in the room 121. Suggest a thorough cleaning."
