Why would you wait to pass away and go to heaven( if you believe so) if you can simply book a ticket to Florence and visit "Poggio Baronti"?!! An amazing and spectacular villa hidden in the heart of Tuscany with superb panorama view and just 7-8 minutes drive away from the city(That is exactly what we liked most-privacy and beautiful nature). Communication was great, and it was easy to park and do the self check-in. The room was very spacious and comfortable with all the facilities we could need. Breakfast was excellent, including the delicious home-made cake selection. It was so nice sitting in the garden to enjoy the breakfast. The air conditioning could have been a bit stronger but we were staying in the middle of a heatwave and the extra fan provided meant we didn't have much trouble sleeping. Hotel is lovely, decor is beautiful and such a great location in the centre. The only issue that really let it down was the noise from the nightclub :( the entrance/smoking area was bang outside our window and I didn’t get any sleep for 2 nights even using the ear plugs provided. My partner had no issues but if you’re a light sleeper like me (and grumpy with lack of sleep) this might not be the best place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at B&B Kingsman. We chose it mainly because of the 5 minute walk from train station but it is also very close to the centre and all the Florence main attractions. It is located on the first floor of a very old building which looks a bit basic when you first enter but once you go up the stairs and through the Kingsman entry doors, it is decorated just as shown in the pictures on line, the rooms are beautifully furnished in an ornate Italian style, all spotlessly...

Ehat an amazing find. This is slap bang in the middle of Florence but like a little retreat tucked away behind double doors. Its a 2.minute walk to the cathedral and on one of the main shopping streets. Its up a couple of flights of stairs but once up its a little sanctuary. I found the room to be clean, well equipped and modern. The shower was powerful and theres a nespresso coffee machine in the room. Breakfast orders were taken upon arrival and they offered some dinner recommendations too....
