"This property was fabulous. Just what we needed after a busy few days in Kyoto. Serene and lovely. The room was so very nice. Every detail covered. Staff was incredible. Excellent food- breakfast buffet amazing. Free shuttles to attractions and back to train station in Odawara. We loved this property. What a treat. "

"Amazing experience with Ten-yu. We spent a few hours in the attached water park and enjoyed the private onset in the balcony. Free ice cream, tea and snacks in lobby was an added bonus. No need to even pack a bag- clothes, night dresses and all toiletries were complimentary. "

Wonderful Stay

"The room was cozy, the outdoor Onsen was fantastic. We love the privacy and the Mountain View. The staff was well trained and extremely helpful, especially the food servers. We enjoyed every moment of our two night stay. One issue that can be improved is the lack of a shuttle service for the guests. The Ryokan is on a rather steep slope and dragging our luggage back and forth was a real choir. Difficult to get a taxi from the Ryokan and the shuttle bus was not readily available. The Ryokan should have a van and a driver to ferry people back and forth between the Ryokan and the town. Charge a bit more to cover the cost, we for one, will gladly pay for the convenience! Overall, well done, and thanks. "
