"The hotel manager was incredible, extremely accommodating on my arrival after a long haul flight. Probably the best stay I've had in Sydney (and I stay every month for work). The pool was the perfect oasis to recover over the weekend. Looking forward to my next stay here. The local bars and restaurants are all wonderful too, very lucky to have such an excellent wine and cheese bar & bakery connected to the building. Apartment was spacious and clean, perfectly set up. "I had a great stay at Ibis Sydney east. Considering its perched above a busy road, the double glazing meant that the sound does not infiltrate the room and I had no trouble sleeping or just relaxing in the room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Kings Cross station is very close and you can get anywhere from there. My room even had a harbour and Opera House view, to my surprise. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again."
