"The hotel was very clean, big room with a comfy bed, great shower, lots of things to do in the bar area. The staff were very pleasant."

"Overall we had a great stay. There was an issue on check in where I was told I didn't pay for the room when I clearly had. I had to show the receipt but this was then rectified. But wasted time at check in after a long journey. The room was very spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Shower was very good and powerful. Only thing I'd say is, there is not enough power points in the room. Also, the key cards to get into your room are rubbish. We were told not to put them near watches cards etc and we done neither. But they still stopped working. We went through around 15 cards for a 4 night stay. But overall, lovely hotel. The gym has recently been renovated. Superb! Swimming pool was very soothing. Sauna & Steam very nice. The location is not great if you don't drive. There is a retail park within 5 mins from the hotel where there are a few fast food places. Reading shopping centre was about a 9 minute drive away. Not sure how long that would take on a bus. The whole stay, I saw a bus once. However, I would definitely stay at this hotel again. "

"You claim to be a dog friendly hotel but, although dinner can be taken in the lounge with your dogs, there are no areas where you can have breakfast with your dogs. Very disappointing."
