"the Gray Manor Hotel and Wedding Venue: We got our room and after going into the room finding out the cleaners had not been in there. All the bed sheets and pillows were stained and there was hair all over the place. I went back to the reception to complain, and a man came out in his bathrobe with no shoes on and his chest hanging out; he had clearly just gotten out of bed. He eventually gave me another room, but this one was just as bad, with lipstick stains all over the headboard and a filthy bathroom. The rest of the night was an absolute disaster. There was a huge vibration noise coming from the taps and a constant beeping noise coming from the hallway that made it impossible to sleep. This place was a total nightmare and definitely not what you would expect from a hotel and wedding venue. I would not recommend staying here."

"Allocated a room in the carpark.... Clean room, but bed hard. Faulty door lock, very little security. Also door opened outward... Room upgraded to one in the courtyard, larger with better security. Staff helpful, private parking, shops nearby... Just ignore the noisy early delivery and banging late at night.... 4 night stay. Overall good in the end."

"Fun & friendly staff, Sarah on check in was fabulous, friendly and the perfect way to start our stay. Great rooms, lovely gardens, bar had great drinks and team too. Great amount of restaurants and pubs all within walking distance. Breakfast was as top notch too, delicious produce and couldn’t fault it. "
