"Expedia should stop listing this as oceanfront. It is parking lot front with an ocean view. Would have made a big difference in my booking this place. Was not what I expected."

"Let start with check in which was less than desirable. We were given a room but after I suffered( you're forced to hear a spiel about some meetings or something) from another person just to get my parking pass and I said i wasn't interested and that we were there just tw weeks ago, I was told someone was still in an room . Then they were trying to give me another but had to come back the next morning to get Another room which I said i want my money back if have switch rooms the next day. So then I was given another rm.I went uo and low and behold there's people still in there, we go back down to the lobby and are given another so we go back Up and this room has not been cleaned, dirty linen on bathroom floor, the bed was unmade with dirty linen balled up on the corner, over filled trash bag on top of trash can, used water bottles on the table so we go Back down to the lobby, then are given our last room but the nice clerk goes and checks this room himself. Finally success! The guy that checked us in was very nice and polite but seems to have problem with the computer stating the stuff is not getting updated. Also the ac has been broken in the lobby for over two weeks. The view from the balcony is great. Just before checking out of our room I was going to wash a couple of dishes but there was no dish soap in the room. I use to love the maverick but this new vacation management or whatever its called is well, less than desirable. I hope the owners get better management"

"Beach veiw was amazing. Mattress was hard but worth the view. Was hoping for a little more options for breakfast. Definitely worth the price and maybe back next year."

"This is a lovely, relaxing resort. Do t let the fact that it’s dated dissuade you. Everything is very well maintained and well taken care. The people couldn’t be friendlier and Cathy (the lady who was working evenings during the time we were there was super kind and even remembered it was the boyfriend’s bday and asked how it was. Def will return and look forward to it!"

"Very authentic “vintage Florida “ hotel . Great location walkable to quaint stores and shops . Easy beach access . Room was clean with a kitchen that was oddly supplied with everything we needed to make breakfast . There is a Publix walkable in case you’re ambitious and want to cook alot . We would return to this location . The desk attendant was very helpful , friendly and made good fishing spot recommendations . If I had one complaint it is that they didn’t have any usb ports I understand that it’s an older hotel but lamps and alarm clocks can be purchased now with accessible usb ports to charge phones , watches etc"
