One night stay to experience the Periyar reserve close by. Our room was enormous and located near the very back of the property. Sadly building works are directly next to the property so we heard angle grinding. Mgr tried to stop them but only the rain did. Staff amazing. Food delicious. Great cocktails and beers. This was a great stay - everything is top notch - lovely room, great food, friendly staff, good service etc. The grounds around the hotel are especially nice. The pool - and views from it - are especially impressive!

We stayed two night in this hotel and were greeted by a very friendly and professional staff. They gave us a very personal experience, took us out trekking. I would recommend this to anyone that want's a great experience with excellent food and very nice venue. Very clean and well maintained hotel.

Stayed here 3 nights. It's a small family run establishment. Good location close to the entrance to the reserve and 15 mins walk from the reserve ticket office and pick-up point for the reserve trips. Spacious, room with balcony overlooking fields where mongooses and monkeys were playing, and the forest. Location is very central. Rooms are nice and clean. The staff will go above and beyond to help. My dad had dietary requirements and the chef Tom made him his own meal.

Beautiful hotel with spacious, tastefully decorated rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful with all of our tourist questions. They even helped arrange transportation for places in our itinerary. In all of our travels in India, this was the only hotel that had a contract laundry service with washer and dryer, so our clothes were promised to be washed, dried and ironed within a day

It was really a nice hotel very close to the city center, periyar wildlife sanctuary and lake..... and the staff was very helpful for the information which i needed they really helped me with that..... lot of places to visit there. So plan accordingly..... 2 nights is just not enough..... Places to visit, Parunthum para, ramakalmedu, idukki dam etc etc....
