"The hotel is located in the mountain area of Majorca. Great hiking for those who want it. Lazy days lolling around for those who dont. You can walk to Port Soller in 15-20 minutes and Soller in about 30 minutes. Dark skies on walks back are amazing. There is a courtesy shuttle service. "We booked this B&B while we were planning to take in the surrounding Penedes region. The only issue we had was that we didn't give ourselves enough time to fully appreciate the property. The owners and staff are so hospitable and gracious. The landscape and relax spaces are expertly maintained, you'll find animals and a garden on the property as well. "A beautiful, old-style hacienda with all the modern conveniences. Beautiful views, an amazingly kind and helpful host, fantastic kitchen and bathroom amenities. I deeply enjoyed rambling down the farm access roads and discovered an amazing bonus in the restaurant next door: weekday lunch deal for less than $15 -- including a bottle of their own vineyard's wine! My only issue was with public transit -- the buses in the area are more aspirational than predictable and taxi drivers don't like taking...

"We have spent a week at Sa Bassa with our extended family (grandparents, babies, toddlers, teenagers), and the hotel was perfect to accommodate our various needs. The menu varies from day to day and offers fresh, healthy and delicious food options with ingredients sourced directly from the island accompanied by excellent wines.
