"Our stay was OK. We stayed a Saturday and Sunday night. Saturday understandably was much busier than Sunday. Parking lot was full, pool was extremely busy. We booked a superior room as opposed to the cheaper rooms labelled standard. Unfortunately the room was placed adjacent to the elevator and whenever the elevator went to the basement/pool level and very loud noise can be heard in the room. This went on until the pool closed. I assumed a superior room would be a more favourable location in the hotel but it wasn’t. Oh well. The room was clean and alittle bigger than I expected, small upgrades like flooring are done but it’s definitely showing its age in the bathroom and the drop ceiling tiles in the entry in tough shape as well as water damage. The heater/AC unit thermostat didn’t work so the unit would turn off and on at weird times when the room was already warm or cool but we opened the window and it was fine. Might be a problem in the summer months when it’s hot outside. Breakfast was good. Quite a few options, but you have to go right when they open at 7 as it’s packed and hard to find a table later on. The pool seemed clean and there was someone testing the water Monday morning which is a good sign that it’s maintained. We might stay here again depending as it’s hard to find a pool and free breakfast in Canmore. But there’s certainly better options available if a slightly higher cost which might be worth it for some people."

"Breakfast was excellent , but not included in stay . Hot tub was nice , can see the mtn, but not great; room view on bottom floor wasn’t the best - would suggest either facing interior or higher up "
