"We’ve always had a great experience at this hotel, which is why this past trip was pretty disappointing. As soon as we checked into our room in Building 9, we immediately noticed several issues. The room was very outdated, had a strong musty/mildew smell the moment we walked in, and there was an awful urine smell coming from the sofa area near the phone. It honestly felt uncomfortable from the start.
Thankfully, we called right away and the manager, Maria, was very understanding and quickly moved us to a room in Building 10. The second room was a much better experience and we had no further issues during the rest of our stay, so we really appreciated how promptly she handled the situation.
That first room, however, was definitely not acceptable, and I genuinely hope it gets addressed before another guest is placed there. Overall, this hotel can really be hit or miss depending on the building or room you get. You do get what you pay for, and while it may work fine for a quick, budget-friendly Disney weekend, I personally wouldn’t recommend it for a longer family vacation without being cautious about room placement."
