The staff was super attentive and helpful. The property had a nice airy feel to the place which in Singapore is a rarity as all hotels are high rises with buildings on all sides . Overall an excellent stay. A problem with the original room at check in was resolved promptly and to our satisfaction. The breakfasts were plentiful, with a vast choice and a highlight. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was excellent too. The hotel location was ideal, walkable to the Marina bay sands area, Raffles hotel and several shopping centre.

Always good to return to The Stamford, it's my favourite hotel for the Singapore F1 GP. Good facilities, the Skai Bar and restaurant are very good, with excellent views across the city. The room was spacious, good balcony. Only minor issue was the time it took for hot water to come through, especially with the rain shower. The shopping centre attached has a good range of shops and LOTS of food places to try. I recommend this hotel and will definitely be using it again for next year's GP.

The hotel was amazing. We were on the 11th floor. The buffet breakfast was varied and delicious. The room was large and the bathroom clean and spacious. Complementary tea and coffee in the room as well as a tap with filtered water. The service always exceptional. As Expedia customers, we got access to the Executive Club with free drinks, afternoon tea and evening snacks.

Definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, excellent staff throughout the hotel, rooms were spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The location was convenient for several of the sites and activities we wanted to do. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was very good. When I arrived I was upgraded and the room is very nice and clean. There is only one restaurant in the hotel but the food is excellent. Staff at the reception are very friendly and helpful. The pool area is also very clean. The hotel has a nice quite and peaceful atmosphere close to the center but away from all the noise.

The staf were exceptionally helpful and it included free mini bar and car to airport.

We had a short but excellent stay at the Standard. It is a very modern and well designed hotel with some great amenities including an outdoor pool. Our room was spacious and very comfortable and the hotel offers a free shuttle to the shopping area on Orchard Road which is a nice touch. However it is conveniently situated and only a short walk to the shopping. The staff were all excellent and we can't wait to return.

I had a lovely stay here and would stay again. My room was very comfortable and spacious with excellent housekeeping. The staff were warm and welcoming. The location is a little out of the way but a bus stop is within 10 minutes walk and the island bus service is excellent and cheap and easy to use with a credit card tap in/out system.

Sofitel Singapore City Centre is a glorious starting place for exploring the city state. Right in the heart of China Town, it is accessible to various historic sites no less than Talok Ayer. The staff at Sofitel are brilliant, approachable and made our stay that much extra special. Special commendation to the reception staff, the lounge staff who were super helpful and of course the staff at the wonderful Racines restaurant.

Great hotel, right by the Indian Quarter

A really lovely place to stay. Excellently located just out of the city centre and close to public transport links, it was very convenient for access to all of Singapore's 'must see' attractions. The hotel itself is lovely, clean and well-appointed, although the rooms are somewhat small, so you will need to be a little creative with storage, especially if you are staying for more than a few days! Amazing stay in the Ocean Suites. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel like royalty. The room is out of this world - we watched the aquarium for hours! Very handy for local attractions with buggy service everywhere. Special thanks to Chester, William, Eric and David for making the first part of our honeymoon trip so fantastic.
