I find some hotels in this bracket a bit pretentious, but that wasn't the case here. The manager (I assume) was really friendly when we checked in and made us feel very welcome. The rest of the staff were very friendly too.
The large roof terrace has a nice bar and fantastic views towards Vesuvius. There is also a nice ground floor bar with roadside terrace. Delicious canapes were served with our wine.

This Hotel is situated on the Piazza Della Vitoria with great sea views across to mount vesuvius be sure to get ask
for a suite as they are corner rooms and look out across the bay of Naples.
We dined one evening at the Hotel, and to my surprise we found the cost to be cheaper than outside , the buffet
Breakfast was of course very typical of a 4 star Hotel, plentiful.
Sorrento was very busy for the end of season,i can't imagine what it must be like in August,do go to AnaCapri The Chair...

Stayed for 1 week in October 2016 on a bed and breakfast basis. Chose hotel for its proximity both to the facilities of Sorrento and the outlook over the Bay of Naples. A 5 - 10 minute level walk leads you to the many bars, restaurants and shops that the town has to offer. It's also close to the bus and Circumvesuviana train stations from which the city of Naples, tours to Mount Vesuvius, the Amalfi coast and the ruins at Pompei and Herculaneum can be easily (and cheaply) accessed. Such a lovely hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The views of Sorrento are stunning. The Hotel Restaurant food was superb the best food we have ever had in a hotel Restaurant.
We used the hotel shuttle bus which was so reliable and quick into Sorrento town. You can walk into town which only took about 15 minutes.
It's a hotel you could not fault as the pool was so clean and gave you such lovely views. I would highly recommend the hotel. When we left the hotel for our flight they...

We stayed in Sorrento for 3 days for a friends wedding, after finding many of the hotels in the centre expensive we decided to look at something a bit cheaper, for the price what you get is outstanding, never was I expecting the quality and comfort for the price we paid. These apartments are right in the centre of Sorrento everything is walking distance, the bus station, shops, restaurants and lift down to the beach is also 2 minutes walk away. We were greeted and left our bags and told we could...

As I have mobility issues the reception staff allowed me to access the basement carpark to save me having to use the many steps at the rear of the hotel. From there it was an easy walk to piazza tasso.
The hotel itself was good, large room that was cleaned every day and the rooftop bar was great. My granddaughter loved the roof top pool.
The Caruso Augusto club was a great place to finish the evening, quite and comfortable.
All in all, couldn't really fault it and we enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is amazing - so glad we booked. The location is great - just outside the bustle of Sorrento centre with a free shuttle service to take you in if you prefer not to walk. The hotel is set in its own grounds with gardens, a huge pool, and a private jetty for swimming in the sea. The views are indescribable - nothing between you and the bay of Naples/Vesuvius etc. Fascinating in all weathers - even in thunder storms!
The staff are thoughtful and polite at all times, and will do anything...

It was our first visit and we loved this hotel, we'll definitely go back.
The staff were helpful and friendly and spoke very good English. Ugo and Gerrano working on the pool snack bar really looked after us and were perfect hosts. Paolo on the front desk helped to arrange a boat trip to Capri.
The room was a good size and very clean, with an ensuite bathroom, good air-con, a small fridge, free safe, thick curtains, sound-proofed windows, tile floor and large comfy beds. We all slept very...
