Good value in exclusive area of San Diego. Friendly staff. Good size room. Lovely view from balcony. Easy parking. Few steps from shops and easily reached coves and beaches. Would stay again

We choose the hotel as it is next to a great golf complex overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The large oak panelled room opened up onto a spacious veranda overlooking the eighteen green and ocean beyond. The staff were friendly and efficient. Several dining options from very casual in the snug bar to fine dining in the restaurant, all with great food. We stayed three nights and wished it was longer.

Beautiful hotel with large pool areas. Completely separate pool for children meaning the pool area for adults was calm and peaceful. Definitely need a car as the hotel is not near Carlsbad itself or the beach and is a good 30 miles down the I5 from San Diego. Excellent Breakfast

Nice hotel, good facilities, breakfast was busy but lots of choice and regularly replenished. Nice warm pool. It does shut between 7-8pm to be cleaned which can be annoying if you get in at 6.55 without knowing this!

I've stayed at this hotel before and would definitely stay here again. The staff are friendly, approachable and offer exemplary customer service. The rooms are great and everything was spotless. The air con was a bit loud but I don't live somewhere that needs it and most people might not even notice. Either way I was able to turn it off when I wanted with ease. Staff are very friendly

The location was quiet and away from most tourist attractions which was what we wanted. Tiny little pool (couldn't call it a swimming pool), but it didn't matter to us. Managed to play a few (twilight) holes at the very beautiful Torrey Pines close by.

Great location in Del Mar, short walk from the shops and cafes, and the beach.
