I booked a one bedroom garden villa for a staycation on 25 nov. The room was beautifully done up and huge with high tech blinds and curtain. Very nice and well maintained room. I am a fan of the lunch buffet but not for breakfast. Other than that everything is very good.
The staff was overall great! However , the residence ‘s check in is at the Capella main lobby . We were directed to the wrong place towards the residence compound and couldn’t find the check in reception counter . It took us 15 minutes and driving up and down to find the right place to check in as ...
Plus- My boy loves the peacocks that’s roaming around. We like welcome drinks and kacang. Near Palawan beach. Neg- only one restaurant/ menu for meals. Maybe the hotel can tie up for food delivery. There was a party going on at the next door till 3am. Many people were talking so loud and it was impossible to fall asleep. Also, our room (215) was directly infront of the emergency exit/staircase. In the early morning (6am-8am), hotel staff has been entering in and out of the exit and the clicking/slamming ...
Everything about this hotel set a new paragon for class and sophistication. I have stayed at many Ritz hotels around the world and this one may be the best. The staff were attentive without being annoying. The hotel is in close to the waterfront and walking distance to shopping centers and attractions. ...
A very good staycation to unwind one self during the weekends. The room was really big and nice with an extremely big bathtub. However, the only downside to this is the food option in the club house. Not really a fantastic one just like the one I had in another hotel nearby.
Singapore is home to a number of golf courses, both in Singapore itself and on Sentosa Island. As Singapore is quite small, it’s relatively easy to get to any of them, especially those on Sentosa Island, from your hotel of choice by using Singapore’s convenient public transport system or hopping in a taxi.
The Sentosa Golf Club is regarded as Singapore’s finest club. It hosts the internationally famous Barclays Singapore Open in its delightful location by the ocean on the south-eastern tip of Sentosa Island. The fairways and greens are meticulously manicured and have been played by the likes of Adam Scott, Angel Cabrera and Ernie Els. Walk-in golfers are welcomed at this prestigious club.
There is a wide choice of accommodation on Sentosa Island, including some three- and four-star properties like Siloso Beach Resort and ONE15 Marina Club, along with many five-star choices including the Singapore Resort & Spa Sentosa managed by Accor adjacent to the Sentosa Golf Club. Those combining golf with business will be delighted with the conferencing and dining facilities available. The property features a beautiful outdoor pool, with the Garden Villas enjoying their own private lap pools. Other top Singapore attractions such as the exciting Universal Studios Singapore are only minutes away and there’s direct beach access from the hotel.
The Marina Bay Golf Course opposite the Gardens by the Bay is a wonderful 18-hole course that is open to members the public. It’s easily accessible to the central business district of Singapore and offers picturesque views of the city skyline. There’s a handy little café and a golf equipment rental shop on site.
There is a good spread of properties near this course, mostly in the five-star bracket like the luxurious Shangri La Hotel Singapore which has a pitch and putt golf course on site, along with a fabulous outdoor pool set in beautiful gardens. The slightly cheaper four-star Copthorne King's Hotel Singapore also offers a miniature golf course, lovely pool and rooms with city views. If you’d like a break from playing golf, you’ll find some of Singapore’s most popular attractions nearby, such as the bustling Clarke Quay and Singapore’s shopping paradise of Orchard Road.
