"The condition of the halls of the hotel and building in general showed its age, but the room had been updated and was clean. The sink and tub drainage was poor. The room was heated very well especially on a cold day. The front desk lady that checked me in seemed in a foul mood but I am sure with saint pattys day crowd and it being busier than normal can cause that. There was a good security presence which made things feel a bit safer."

" Jacuzzi in room 256 was not fully working. Only the front jets was working. MOST HORRIBLE IN TERRIFYING WAS THE HOTEL CAUGHT FIRE ON OUR FLOOR Barely heard fire alarms. Hurt myself n left belongs still no call back after trying to retrieve my belongings. Also came out to smoke filled Hallway hurt myself again trying to escape. No 1 even tried to knock on doors 2 alert us. "

"The hotel is clean and well kept. The staff is nice and easy to communicate with. The only problem that I encountered is the parking. Free parking is almost non-existent. Paid parking on the lot across the street is $38 per day. Valet parking is $70 per day. Parking everywhere in Chicago is extremely expensive if you can find it. It's very limited. "

"Modern and stylish room only a short walk away from many attractions and amenities. Spacious high ceiling and lots of floor space! Staff was always friendly and very accommodating. The room did take some time to cool down, but that's a given. Will absolutely book here again on our next trip."
