"This Hotel had abeautiful room that was clean with pretty finishing touches like making a flower from toilet paper roll or the kleenex. I was a little disapointed that the property as not walking distance to Churchhill Downs. "

"First time staying at the Galt House and it was excellent. Had read in some reviews that some rooms were outdated but ours certainly was not. Great amenities, restaurants and bars nearby were great. Food and beverage manger (I believe her name was Jessica Frost) was especially kind, as was all the staff. I would definitely return."

"The Tempo has reasonable rates and is a great place to stay in Louisville’s NuLu neighborhood. It is also within walking distance to Downtown. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. There is a parking garage right behind the hotel, though it costs about $30/night. It is secure and convenient, so I think it is worth it, though a better rate would be appreciated. In a hotel you will always have noise from the heat pumps and ventilation, and if you are on the back side you might also have some noise from the garage. On the front side you might have street noise. But overall it was not overly noisy. Just mentioning it so a visitor can be advised and maybe ask in advance for one or the other. "

"Where do I begin? The live bullets in the parking lot, the car windows being broken, the door lock on our room that didn’t work and then we were told there was no other rooms. Then we had a dog bark for 2.5 hours to which we couldn’t reach the front desk because you only get a busy signal. Corporate was called then got us connected to the front desk to which they said, the guest is at a concert and won’t be home for over an hour. Then the hotel proceeded to over charge me by over $500. Now I’ve been fighting to refund my money for two days."

"Kind of out of the way, but once you get there you’ll see it’s a really nice hotel and casino. Rooms clean, good food options, and an assortment of unique vending machine options after hours. Just so you know they allow smoking in half of the casino but it’s not overwhelming. Very helpful front desk staff."
