"We went to visit attractions in the Bardstown area, including Heaven Hill Distillery. The Talbott Inn is well situated for stays that include visits along the Bourbon Trail. The building has a rustic charm, and the rooms are modern and comfortable. The staff was friendly and eager to help. Having the tavern so close is a plus and the complimentary breakfast was exceptional."

"The front desk clerk at check-in worked with me sooooo well. I had not realized that there were no stairs within this particular location and there for did not request a first floor room. She took my mobility issues into consideration as well as the needs of my traveling companion (she is disabled) and found us a first-floor room. GREAT customer service. She made sure our needs as the guest were fulfilled. While I did not partake in the breakfast, Gina did. Again, the staff was amazingly accommodating and met her every need. "

Staff was friendly. The pool was clean and had plenty of seating with umbrella tables. Great value. Location and a simple free breakfast included."
