"“Cheney” at the front desk made all the difference to me stay. She was always helpful, courteous, friendly and going beyond the call of duty to accommodate my questions and requests. One thing I didn’t like is the food (breakfast options were lousy), I had to depend on boiled eggs for 3 days. "

"Hotel ist Top. Zimmer sehr großzügig und sauber. Bad und Bett alles tip-top. Früchstücks-buffett sehr vielfältig und super qualität. Warme gerichte direkt zubereitet. Lage perfekt, in nur 15min. zum Bund. Einfach dem Kanal entlang und man kommt direkt beim Paulaner raus. Weg sehr sicher. Leider bietet Hotel keinen Pool, daher stern abzug."

"Very value for money. It's a short 5 mins walk from the metro which connects directly to the bund (also walkable from the hotel in about 20 mins), yu gardens, xin tian di and much more. There are good restaurants, bars and bakeries around the vicinity as well. The breakfast shop right beside the hotel attracts huge crowds from 10pm onwards. Only downside is inconsiderate hotel guests whom we suspects smokes at the window at the end of the corridor which unfortunately is not too far from our...

- Incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating host (Samuel who was there to receive us at midnight as our plane delayed 2 hours & Lisa)
- right next to Line 8, Anshan Xincun station
- right next to small mall with supermarket, restaurants and coffee joints
- walking distance to another mall and convenience stores
- direct access food court (B1)
- nice sized fridge with plates and cutlery
- really good air conditioning system
- washer dryer 2 in 1
To take note of
- Toilet bidet wasn’t working for us
- need to really balance the usage of hot water (it was ok for us as only the kids showered with hot water while we adults used cold water
- water pressure dropped drastically at certain hour (believe it’s related to peak hours when more residents in the building was using the shower at the same time)
- mattress was so-so for me, could feel the spring at some angles (2 out of the 3 beds had a extra topper on top)"
"Hotel was beautiful, and the view from the room of the Pearl and TV Tower was stunning. Staff very helpful and professional. Not all of the staff will speak brilliant English, but that's not to be expected, and easily managed with use of Google Translate. All areas were very clean, beds were comfortable, and housekeeping very efficient. The surrounding area doesn't have as many restaurants or bars as across the river, but the Metro is easily accessible and very cheap. Excellent shopping within a 5 minute walk at Super Brand Mall. Area felt very safe at night (two female travellers)."
