"We absolutely loved the Sofitel. From the moment you enter, you know you are in luxury central: the sparkling chandeliers and the polished marble floors lure you into a world where every detail of your stay has been considered and prioritised. From the high thread count linen sheets to the refined and tasteful decor, you feel extremely cherished. The staff are restrained and respectful while being impeccable in their service delivery. The position is just a short walk from the promenade of the bund and we walked everywhere from there. Oh and best not to forget how splendid the breakfast is….one of the best buffets I have ever had! "Stayed six nights in a Twin Star Suite and got a corner room with a fantastic view of the river and city. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of options—from fresh pastries to a build-your-own congee station. We also received two complimentary laundry items per day, which was very convenient. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would highly recommend it to both first-time visitors and seasoned travelers."
