Set on the banks of Lake di Annone this superb hotel was just what we needed. Quiet, exclusive & with amazing service. We had a signature suite, so we had a hot tub with a huge wrap around balcony. Our super king size bed overlooked the lake with double aspect windows, which was wonderful to wake up to. The staff were very friendly, helpful & accommodating. We ate in the Michelin* restaurant in the hotel. We booked our room very last minute & so initially they said they couldn’t fit us in...

An unusual hotel!. The bedrooms at the front are all glass so the blinds went up and down like yo yos. We were at the front so nearby houses could see in. It was a bit like being in a goldfish bowl To have any privacy the blinds were dropped but then you lost the views. .Due to the expensive local stone which lines the walls in the bathroom, there are no towel rails so get used to leaving them on the floor. The hotel has a chocolate factory and coffee shop at which hotel guests get a discount....

Loved this hotel, beautiful, quirky, staff friendly, helpful. We arrived early evening & the restaurant was not open but the pool bar was open and the barman very kindly rustled up some lovely snack bites. Various rooms to relax in and the art around the building was amazing! Would definitely go back if visit Begamo again the future.

Lovely hotel, on site parking which was free on the Sat night/sunday we were there - may be payable @ other times. We booked a family room with one large double and two single beds. Lovely big room with lots of space. Even though the shower was a little tired I liked that the main bathroom had an attached room with an additional large sink which allowed others to wash/brush teeth while someone else was secure in the main shower room/toilet. Breakfast was varied and nice. Village was cute, pizza...

It is almost retro feeling you have when you walk in, hotel must've been once the most modern in Milan :) Still well maintained, clean. Good breakfast and nice staff. Only discomfort was hard bed. Location fantastic!
