The hotel was beautiful. Our room was very big lovely bathroom and a lovely sitting area. The food was excellent including the wine. It was a family owned hotel and one of the best we have stayed in? As we have been to Seefeld a few times. The staff couldn’t do enough for you . I would go again and thoroughly recommend it.

Unfortunately we were given the wrong room for the first night with no option to change. This was sorted for a second and third night with a refund for difference. No manned reception from 3pm was a problem for us and other guests. The person who manned the reception from 7-3 was extremely accommodating, helpful and welcoming. Rooms were clean and spacious. Sauna was lovely, although I am unsure why it was only available between 3 and 7pm. Parking was only free between 8pm-8am. This is not...

Great hotel in the centre of Garmisch. 5 mins walk to main shopping and restaurant areas. Amazing views of Germany’s highest mountain, the Zugspitze, directly from our room. Good little indoor pool. Very friendly staff, wearing traditional dress. Bar prices quite reasonable. Half board has good breakfast buffet and three main meal choices (meat, fish, veg) soup dessert. Stayed here for a family winter holiday and couldn't have asked for more. The room was spacious enough for all of us (2 kids on a sofa bed plus separate bedroom for us), well presented and good quality. Pool and spa was great and welcome after a cold day outside. Restaurant and food was the highlight - from a good range at the breakfast buffet to very good 4 course evening meals. Such a wonderful family run hotel. The staff were great and very helpful, there was absolutely nothing to complain about. The rooms were clean and offered a great view, the location was stunning and was close to a convenient rail station too. The breakfasts were always lovely and a nice way to start the day. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely hotel in Ettal village. Plenty of restaurant choices within walking distance. Very nice breakfast included. Convenient parking. Short drive to Linderhof, which was our reason for selecting the hotel.

Love everything-the room, breakfast, dinner, pools and spa, and also the lovely and helpful staff! Hope I will have the chance to come back again.

Overall, the hotel was fantastic! Friendly, helpful staff who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Nice restaurant on site. Excellent breakfast! Rooms were large and very comfortable.

We absolutely loved our stay at this resort! So much that we are already planning to go back for my husbands birthday next year. The staff were all great, from helpful and attentive reception and breakfast staff to the friendly cleaners who all always seemed happy and cheerful. The room was huge and very clean with a great shower and lovely balcony area to sit and relax. There was so much to do in the local area that we wished we were staying much longer than the 3 days we had before...

Staff was very helpful. Rooms were not available, so they gave me entire suite with almost three rooms.
