Pros: Beautiful beachfront location Pools were clean, well-maintained, and visually stunning The entire property was well kept and inviting Beach, pool, and room service were all top notch The spa was excellent Restaurants — The Grill and Spice were absolutely delicious A great variety of daily activities offered, which made the stay even more enjoyable Cons: The room showed some signs of age. Not terrible, but you could see some repair and patchwork. We had an amazing time and would definitely go back and highly recommend this property! "

"Absolutely worth the drive from the airport. Perfect for those who love long walks on the beach, clean waters, and healthy food. Much better value than the all inclusive resorts further south and it’s less crowded. Nobody in my family drank alcohol, so we can’t comment on the drinks. The coffee was delicious."

"Fui a celebrar mi cumpleaños y la cena fue un completo desastre. Aunque dijimos en más de 3 ocasiones que por favor me cantaran cumpleaños nunca fue posible. Adicional a eso me trajeron una carne quemada y nunca la repusieron (me quedé sin cenar) … la habitación la limpieza es muy mala, se cayó un frasco de vidrio y ni cuenta se dieron y tuve que llamar 2 veces para que asistieran a limpiar eso. Los empleados todos “son nuevos” y nadie sabe nada … al final duré 2 noches en el hotel y creo que sé mas del hotel que los mismos empleados. Un fracaso total… ah la piscina de la habitación, no pude ni entrarme de lo sucia que estaba"

"This is such a great vacation spot! My husband & I had an amazing time from the moment we arrived. Everyone who works there is super kind & helpful which made the whole experience even better. The room was clean & the AC worked perfectly :) The only downside was that we had no cold water for the tub. My husband filled it in the morning & by early evening it was still hot but at least he could finally get in 😂 For an all-inclusive resort, the food was pretty good! Some hits & a few misses but there are multiple restaurants so you’re never stuck eating something you don’t like. We did pay for club & the access to Magna was definitely worth it! We also loved that there’s entertainment every evening & they end the night with a dance party. Definitely an Excellence fan now!"
