"This was a small private room with bathroom in a guest house in a great location a minutes walk from the tourist information office . Great location for walking around . This operation has two separate properties very close by on the same street . We made the mistake of going to the second property which was well signed with the guest house name but the registration office was at the first house that was not as obvious . To make things easier for first time guests I would suggest signage at the first house that indicates “ 1012 Guest House Reception”"

"The welcome was lovely and warm, staff were always helpful, very much appreciated as a solo traveller. The room was spacious and clean, yes, there was a slight smell coming from the water outlet in the shower, but opening the windows, sorted that out. No issues with flies, as I read in a previous review, could have been the time of year as I was there during the first week in September. The gardens unfortunately weren’t as seen in advert, so maybe some up to date photos there. Wonderfully central, 3-4 minutes to the centre of the town where you could get buses, tuc tucs or taxis to all the sights, 15 minutes to the train station for trains to Lisbon. Plenty shops and restaurants too. Great for a short visit to beautiful Si tra."

"This room was absolutely gorgeous, the enclosed patio room was like a magazine feature. The bathroom had a bad smell like water was sitting and rotting in pipes, which was extremely unfortunate considering everything else was so beautiful. We just left bathroom window open and door closed but when we'd return to the room you could smell it. Location was convenient too. Note for future visitors with cars, if you drive up to the barrier you don't need the QR code to make it go down to drive out."
