Set on the banks of Lake di Annone this superb hotel was just what we needed. Quiet, exclusive & with amazing service. We had a signature suite, so we had a hot tub with a huge wrap around balcony. Our super king size bed overlooked the lake with double aspect windows, which was wonderful to wake up to. The staff were very friendly, helpful & accommodating. An unusual hotel!. The bedrooms at the front are all glass so the blinds went up and down like yo yos. We were at the front so nearby houses could see in. It was a bit like being in a goldfish bowl To have any privacy the blinds were dropped but then you lost the views. .Due to the expensive local stone which lines the walls in the bathroom, there are no towel rails so get used to leaving them on the floor. I had an amazing experience at Al Molo 5. The breakfast with a beautiful lake view was truly unforgettable, and the hotel itself is super clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. I recommend coming by car, as there isn’t much within walking distance, but the on-site restaurant is excellent — great food, very romantic atmosphere, and the whole area is quiet and peaceful. Overall, a wonderful place to relax. Highly recommended!

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful location with amazing views over Lake Como. We were allowed to drop our bags off as we arrived before check in. When we came back to check in our luggage had already been taken to our room. Rooms are spacious and modern and very clean and the view is amazing. We had dinner first night and the food was great - especially the risotto! We woke up the next day after a really bad storm and unfortunately the damage to the road outside was extensive. We were so lucky to find this hotel at short notice. Perfectly positioned next to the lake in Como. The hotel has only just opened after extensive refurbishment and it is beautiful. The staff couldn't be more helpful and the service was first class. The roof top bar is beautiful with views across the lake and the old town. We absolutely loved this place. It was cosy, comfortable, wonderful people who run it. We had a disaster with car rental after a delayed flight and the hosts couldn’t have been more kind and understanding. It’s so chilled, welcoming, beautiful and peaceful.
