"One of the best hotels in the world. And definitely the best I have ever stayed at in my life. The employees are so friendly and leave enough space for customers. The rooms are so comfortable that they made me have a great sleep. The price is worth it."

Loved the location of being nearer the old side of Kyoto. Spacious lobby was lovely along with rooftop bar. Balance between sympathetic design and modern luxury. Breakfast was excellent and very varied to others we had in Japan.
Room was good and a generous size. Ground floor didn’t have much light but that was okay as we were out all day.
Only negatives, only one chair in room and not many places to be comfy and relax. No bath. Laundrette was not nearly big enough, turned out to be very...

Truly one of the best stays of all my travels. It was personalised to every detail, from the moment we entered as we got to chose our welcome drink to the luggage delivery service with extra attention in the end. The location was precious, very historical and quite private, while the amenities were unexpectedly very modern. The staff were beyond adorable and extremely helpful; Shinyi and Sae are very caring and we already miss them! Having the breakfast served in the room was also great. This...

We booked the property on the day we stayed. What an excellent find, the location was perfect in Gion.
The room had bath facilities which also had toothbrushes, razors, all shampoo and conditioner which really helped us as we did an unexpected stop off. There was a hairdryer, air conditioning and kettle.
The staff were friendly, polite and welcoming they advised us where to eat and it was amazing food. Kyoto is fascinating we saw a few geisha and a must is the Golden Palace. If you love...

Stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and enjoyed it very much. It has a very good location in Kyoto, the staff are friendly, and breakfast buffet delicious!

A nice hotel that's only a 5 minute walk from the nearest train station and 10 minutes from the nearest subway station, and therefore ideal for tourists. The rooms, while on the small side are nice and the beds fairly comfortable. Free toiletries are available for use though most of them are kept in the lobby not the rooms. There's also a small selection of decent selection of restaurants nearby as well as convenience stores. Overall a very pleasant experience and highly recommended.

This is the best Hilton I’ve stayed in. And I am a frequent traveller spending 150-200 nights per year in hotels.
Service was equivalent to a 5 star hotel. From check in, to managing luggage and taxis, to restaurant reservations. All perfect.
Rooms spacious and very well appointed.
Amazing stay

Great location walking distance to trains, shops and restaurants. Wonderful staff and spotless accommodation. Wonderful Ryokan stay perfect for our Japan trip! Would stay here again! Great experience!

The place to go if you want the feel of Ryokan but want the modern amenities. Each room is gorgeous, and so well thought down to the tiniest detail. Would put it at the level of the Four Seasons or Park Hyatt.
The wooden gated entry to every room, with its own rock garden makes it feel like you are coming home. The welcome locally made sweets and tea/cold towels at check in are some of the touches that make the place special.
The only downside is the lack of a proper gym.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at The Royal Park Hotel, first time was about 10 years ago.
The location was so convenient to the indoor market, 7 Eleven, Family mart and restaurants literally around the corner, Subway was a short walk away.
Staff on reception were friendly and helpful.
I had forgotten my wallet in the safe when I checked out and the hotel kindly emailed me to inform me, which I’m utterly grateful for their kindness and looking after my wallet 😊
I would highly recommend...
