"Room was clean, staff was great, cookies and popcorn in the lobby was an unexpected treat! Proximity to the beach was having to cross the main road, but all the hotels along the seawall are positioned like that. There is a restaurant directly in front of the hotel so technically you can park your car and walk wherever you need."

"A good place to stay for a day or two. Room definitely needed some attention. Curtain partially torn from track and sink handle very loose, either needs tightened or replaced. I’m assuming dining area is closed for renovation. No where to sit inside. Either had to eat inside room with just 1 chair and small table or eat outside and be surrounded by semi aggressive seagulls. Attached restaurant Gaido’s, was very good."

"We don't normally stay long at a hotel, just a night it two between where we are going. The hotel looked so good and the price was so reasonable we decided Galveston would be our destination instead of a stop over. We were not let down, the hotel was great, the staff was friendly, the rooms were large and had real ceilings along with a microwave and refrigerator. Plenty of hot water for showers and the beds were nice and firm. No complaints at all."
